Ty is FIVE!!!

Ty turned FIVE on October 5th.  Since it was on a Monday (one of the days I don't work), I decided to spend most of the day at school with him doing lunch duty, working the book fair, and most importantly celebrating in his classroom!  He was so happy all day wearing his special birthday crown.  It was adorable.

We were originally going to have his party that weekend...he requested a petting zoo and a bounce house and our plan was to have it in our backyard.  Well, I was devastated as I watched the weather channel predict a 100% chance of rain over the weekend.  Thankfully, I was able to move it to Wednesday afternoon...even more people were able to make it when I switched the date!  It was awesome and Ty had an absolute blast!

 Skylanders cake too!

Ty is such a sweet boy...he is kind, happy, and selfless.  He is also one of the funniest kids I know - he cracks all of us up every day.  He is tough and is learning how to stand up to his big brother.  :)  And that smile of his just melts my heart.

It's hard to believe this was five years ago ...

Happy 5th birthday to our precious son.   We love you Ty Ty!!!!

Jake's Baptism

Jacob was baptized on Sunday, August 30th at our wonderful church, OLA.  All four of our children have been baptized there and this day was just as special as the others.  Jake's godfather is Uncle Nick and his godmother is my dear friend Lindsey, a.k.a. "Aunt Lindz"!  Lindsey and her sweet family drove in from Sandersville for the occasion.

Jake with us and his Godparents!

His sibling were so excited for him.

There were a ton of kids at his Baptism (I think there were 12 children total ages 6 and under!) - I think they all did very well all things considered.  It's hard to stand still for that long!

Jake did great- he didn't even cry when Deacon Terry poured the water on his head!

Um...what's about to happen here?!

Baptized!

After the baptism we went to Grandma and Grandpa Eco's house for a pool party to celebrate.

Catelin's First Day of School

I am way behind- fall is a very busy time!!

Catelin's first day of school was September 9th.  At the end of last school year I went back and forth about whether or not to put her in the 5 day 3 year old class at our school or the 3 day 3 year old class.  It was a tough decision but she matured so much last year her teachers thought she would do well going every day...we decided to have her go Monday-Friday and I am very happy with our decision.  She absolutely ADORES her teacher and is so excited to go to school every day!!

Here she is painting in her new classroom:

She also started ballet one day a week at the preschool.  She LOVES it...isn't she beyond adorable in her tutu?!?!!
