Catelin has had a great month – except the past few days have been tough on her as two more teeth broke through (top middle). As expected, she has been chewing on absolutely everything.
She is still a hungry girl – eating 5-6 jars of baby food along with cheerios, puffs, small pieces of waffles and bread, etc. (this is in addition to 5 six ounce bottles). She is getting really good at feeding herself finger foods. All that eating sure has paid off….Height: 30” (>95%) Weight: 22 lbs, 11 oz (95%) …my BIG girl!
The time change hasn’t affected her thus far; she continues to sleep 12 hours a night and take two 1.5-2 hour naps during the day.
Catelin STILL hates being on her tummy- I actually feel bad for her but it is a necessary evil. She is crawling/scooting backwards but hasn’t gone forward yet. She stands really well and is starting to pull up on tables. Here is a picture of her refusing to get onto her tummy (I think we have a future gymnast on our hands!)
In the past few weeks, she started to wave “hi” and “bye bye.” She also raises her arms when we say “SO BIG!” The other day we were waving bye to Ms. Lisa and I swear she said “bye bye” – but she also loves to say “baba” …I still can’t decide which one it was. :-)
Catelin loves being outside and could sit in her swing for hours. Other favorites include her toy table, exercauser, and Fisher Price house. MJ and Ty are her favorite playmates- they sing to her, teach her things, and attend to her every need (if she is crying, both of them frantically search for a bottle or pacifier!) It is so sweet.
As far as her crazy hair…well, it is still crazy, but it is starting to lie down! :)
