My mom and Lisa tried to surprise me with a nice picture of the kids with the Easter Bunny. The above picture pretty much sums up the experience! Apparently Catelin really loved the Easter Bunny from afar but wasn’t a fan up close.

The kids had a great time dying the eggs—I guess I should say that MJ and Ty had fun while Catelin sat and watched (she didn’t want to get her hands dirty – such a girl!).
We went to the Easter egg hunt at our church and the kids found tons of eggs!
The Easter Bunny made MJ’s Easter basket before MJ was diagnosed with diabetes so he had to go back to his workshop and start over. I think he did a pretty good job…
MJ was able to tell us all the meaning of Easter this year—it just warmed my heart to hear him talk about Jesus dying on the cross -making the ultimate sacrifice for us – and rising from the dead. Jesus Lord is risen today!
We went up to my parent’s house for an early dinner. The kids got Easter baskets up there too!
After visiting with my family, we drove over to the Eco’s lake house (which is about 5 miles from my parent’s house) for another Easter egg hunt with their cousins and a boat ride! This year MJ found the golden egg- he was beyond excited.
It was a great Easter!
Haha- that first picture of Catelin running from the Easter Bunny is cracking me up. Is MJ laughing at her while she runs away? I love all of the pictures. You seriously have the cutest kids. Catelin's Easter dress was so pretty, and I love the family pic where MJ's cup is hanging out of his mouth. Your kids always make me laugh. Glad y'all had a great Easter. I miss you!
