Well, I turned 33 on Saturday (I’m still in denial that I’m in my 30’s but you’d think I would own it by now!). I had such a wonderful birthday weekend. We took the kids to the GT vs. Syracuse game on Saturday… (Tech gave me a wonderful present by beating them 56-0!)
Grandma was kind enough to watch our little munchkins for the WHOLE night while Steve and I headed to the Ritz Carlton.
We had an amazing time - just the two of us. That particular Ritz is where Steve proposed to me almost exactly 10 years ago (Oct 23, 2003), so that made it extra special.
On Sunday we headed to the Georgia Dome to watch Uncle Andrew and the Bucs play the Falcons. Lisa watched Catelin while we took the boys down there. Andrew was able to get us passes to go on the field before the game – MJ and Ty (and the rest of us) were so excited!
One of the referees came up to MJ and let him wear his hat and throw the flag! IT. WAS. AWESOME.
Even though the Bucs didn’t win, we had so much fun cheering Andrew on from the stands. And Ty spent most of the game blocking Grandma from stealing his popcorn!
